OUR MISSION

The London Arts Council (LAC) is a  non-profit umbrella organization for the arts community. LAC’s mandate is to enhance the quality of life and the creative vitality of London through programs and services offered to the arts community, Londoners and visitors. Working with public, private and community partners, LAC nurtures, builds and sustains awareness and involvement while committed to excellence through the creation, exposure and participation in all levels of arts and culture within the city of London.

ARTIST CALL

The London Arts Council is seeking to commission an artist/creator to design and carve two pieces of semi-permanent tree sculptures to be integrated into the affordable housing on 122 Baseline Road West. The commissioned artist/creator will be expected to complete the project by the end of June 2022. This project aims to support the creation of environmentally sustainable public art.

COMMUNITY STORIES

London Arts Live artists improvise collaboratively in the Spageddy Eddy’s alleyway (Richmond St.) for the urban intervention festival 100in1Day. Featuring multidisciplinary collective Public Displays of Art and musician Will O’Donnell.

Culture Days at Masonville Place, Dan Ebbs presented clowning and mime, Public Displays of Art preformed live contemporary dance and Antony Hare hosted a pop up art studio.

Sizing up event teamed up with Downtown London for some sounds to be spread.
